Sycamore Terrace is right off Hollywood Boulevard in the epicenter of Hollywood. Please enjoy this mini-guide to the neighborhood. The list doesn't include the Sunset Strip and Los Feliz, only a few minutes away and just as packed with shops and things-to-do as Hollywood Boulevard. And don't think you need a car! All you need is within walking distance, and don't forget LA's own subway, located at Hollywood and Highland.

Nature & Recreation

Yes, you are located in an urban sprawl, but just a few blocks away from some of LA's most beautiful nature sites.

An LA favorite is Runyon Canyon, a five-minute walk away from Sycamore Terrace.  Leave the city and escape into the hills for a jog, picnic, celebrity sightings, or free yoga classes under the clear-blue sky. Or take a longer jog to Griffith Park.

Glowing Curtain

Entertainment & Nightlife

Grauman's Chinese Theater (you know, the one with the foot and handprints of famous stars) is right around the corner. Further on is El Capitan Theater, The Egyptian Theater, and the Sunset ArcLight.

Then there's the Hollywood Wax Museum, the Guinness Book of World Records Museum, Madame Tussauds, and daily tours of the Homes of the Stars.

Nightclubs include (assuming they're still in business as of this writing): Avalon, H-Wood, Kress, MyHouse, Vanguard, to name a few.

Live it up at some of LA's most swanky hotels and all their trimmings: spas, bars, lobbies, and restaurants. They include the Roosevelt, the Renaissance, and the W Hotel on Hollywood and Vine (just take a subway--the station is right there!)

Other attractions a little further away: Universal Studios, The Hollywood Bowl, Greek Theater, Ford Amphitheater.
